Stone & Flower Gardens & Landscape Design was created by bringing together talented professionals who shared a vision for raising the standard of landscaping and gardening services in Colorado Springs and the South Denver Metro.
Andy and Sarah Bast founded Stone Flower Landscapes in Colorado Springs in 2019 after successfully building and selling a landscaping company in Indiana. With nearly three decades of design-build experience, Andy brought a strong background in landscape design, construction, and creating outdoor spaces that help homeowners enjoy their properties more fully.
At the same time, Mike and Jennifer Jamieson were building on the legacy of Personal Touch Landscape & Gardening, a company that had been serving local homeowners since 1989. After purchasing the business in 2021, they focused on strengthening operations, improving customer experience, and creating a workplace culture centered on professionalism and service.
In the summer of 2022, the two companies connected and quickly realized they shared many of the same priorities. Both believed homeowners deserved a better landscaping experience, one built on communication, horticultural expertise, quality workmanship, and respect for the customer.
Those shared values led to the merger of the companies on January 1, 2023, creating what is now Stone & Flower Gardens & Landscape Design. More recently, Brent Ehlinger and Rampart Landscape became part of the Stone & Flower Gardens brand, bringing additional experience and resources to better serve homeowners throughout the South Denver area.

Andy Bast
Andy Bast brings more than 28 years of landscape design and construction experience to Stone & Flower Gardens & Landscape Design. His passion for creating beautiful outdoor spaces began early in his career and led him to build a successful landscaping company in Indiana alongside his wife, Sarah.
After selling their business and relocating to Colorado to raise their family, Andy founded Stone Flower Landscapes in Colorado Springs in 2019. His experience spans landscape design, construction, outdoor living spaces, planting design, project planning, and helping homeowners maximize the enjoyment of their properties.
Known for his creative vision and practical approach, Andy works closely with clients to transform ideas into outdoor environments that feel natural, functional, and welcoming. His goal is simple: create landscapes that fit the home, support the way people live, and continue adding beauty and value for years to come.
Sarah Bast
Sarah Bast has been an important part of the landscaping industry alongside Andy throughout their entrepreneurial journey. After helping build and grow a successful landscaping company in Indiana, she and Andy made the move to Colorado to raise their family and pursue a new chapter in Colorado Springs.

Mike Jamieson
Mike Jamieson brings leadership, operational expertise, and a commitment to service to Stone & Flower Gardens & Landscape Design. Before entering the landscaping industry, Mike served as a pilot in the United States Air Force for 13 years. Following his military career, he attended business school and continued building his leadership and management skills.
In 2021, Mike and his wife Jennifer purchased Personal Touch Landscape & Gardening, a respected Colorado Springs company with roots dating back to 1989. Mike focuses on improving systems, supporting team development, and creating a customer experience built around communication, accountability, and professionalism.
His leadership helps create the structure and consistency that homeowners appreciate throughout their projects. From the initial consultation through project completion, Mike is committed to making the landscaping process organized, transparent, and enjoyable for every client.
Jennifer Jamieson
Jennifer Jamieson combines entrepreneurial experience, business leadership, and a deep connection to the Colorado Springs community. A Colorado Springs native, Jennifer owned and operated a small business for seven years before earning her MBA and pursuing new opportunities in business ownership.
In 2021, she and her husband Mike purchased Personal Touch Landscape & Gardening and returned to her hometown with a vision of building a landscaping company known for professionalism, strong relationships, and exceptional customer care.
Jennifer plays a major role in shaping the customer experience at Stone & Flower Gardens & Landscape Design. She focuses on communication, process improvement, employee development, and creating a culture where both customers and team members feel valued and supported.
Her attention to detail and passion for service help guide many of the behind-the-scenes improvements that make working with Stone & Flower a positive experience. Brent Ehlinger
Brent Ehlinger has been in the landscape industry since 1999, building his career from the ground up. He began as an irrigation technician before becoming a successful business owner at Rampart Landscape. His hands-on experience in every stage of landscape installation has shaped a practical, detail-oriented approach to creating outdoor spaces that are both beautiful and built to last.
With a strong foundation in irrigation, Brent emphasizes water-wise design, sustainable landscaping practices, and efficient installation methods that help landscapes thrive while conserving resources. He believes exceptional landscapes should not only enhance a property's appearance but also be easy to maintain for years to come.
